We partnered with GreenWave in the United States to adapt its highly successful model for Aotearoa New Zealand. Our focus is on establishing a viable, scalable native seaweed supply chain that can be a powerful force in combating climate change, boosting biodiversity and creating regional jobs.

Greenwave Aotearoa is led by impact investment project developers EnviroStrat.

Our Greenwave Aotearoa three-year pilot ended in December 2024. We continue to collaborate with farmers, scientists, seaweed product manufacturers, and funders.
